SAA来自于载脂蛋白Apolipoprotein家族,是复合到HDL上的急性相蛋白.含数组、分子量约11-12kDa的蛋白. 人血液中的SAA基本上来自于高密度脂蛋白HDL. 有一组SAA称Constitutive SAA, 也就是SAA3,SAA4和SAA5,在肝脏合成后几乎不进入血流. 另一组急性期SAA, 包括SAA1和SAA2,由肝细胞产生后进入血流.
